How should I care for my sterling silver jewelry?

To limit the tarnishing of sterling silver, it is helpful to keep jewelry sealed in a plastic bag. To remove tarnish, gently rub the piece with a jewelry polishing cloth.  

How do you accept payments?

Emily Claire accepts payments online via credit card at the time of order. All orders will be filled after the payment has been processed.

What is your return policy?

Emily Claire accepts returns or exchanges on regularly priced items within 30 days of purchase.  To be eligible for a return or exchange, the jewelry must be returned unworn and in original condition.  The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.  Emily Claire is not responsible for loss or damages incurred from shipping of returned products.  
Upon receipt of the returned merchandise, we will issue your credit or refund.  Refund is based on the original form of payment.  Shipping is nonrefundable.
Custom and personalized orders are not eligible for return or exchange.
To initiate a return, please email claire@emilyclairedesigns.com.  We reserve the right to refuse items that are returned without prior notice or in a condition unacceptable for resale.
Claims of errors or jewelry defects must be made within 10 business days of receiving your order. Please email claire@emilyclairedesigns.com to obtain a claim authorization number.
Please note that any pieces purchased at a reduced sale price are final sale.

How do you ship orders?

All Emily Claire orders are shipped USPS. Emily Claire is not responsible for lost or damaged packages. All shipping fees are nonrefundable. 

How soon will my order ship?

Each Emily Claire piece is handmade to order. Once your payment has been processed, your order will ship within 7-10 business days. Any changes in lead time will be communicated to the you as soon as possible.  

If you need your purchase to be delivered by a specific time, please note that on your order.  We will do our best to accommodate you!

Will I receive the exact piece of jewelry pictured on the website?

No, the jewelry images on the website are samples only. Each piece of Emily Claire jewelry is handmade to order.  When you make a purchase we will handcraft a new piece of jewelry just for you! It will have variations and character created during the making process, so you will receive a special piece that is uniquely yours.

What if I need a piece of Emily Claire jewelry repaired?

We offer repair services, so please reach out and we can help!  We will discuss your issue, figure out a path forward, and let you know if any charges may apply.  Email to inquire about a repair claire@emilyclairedesigns.com.

Please note that only Emily Claire Jewelry is eligible for our repair services.  We do not repair the work of other jewelers.

Am I subject to sales tax?

All North Carolina residents are subject to sales tax.
